Dimple cup, wheel thrown in white stoneware clay with a finger-and-thumb dimple, formed by hand after the cup has been thrown. Glazed with a gloss transparent interior, with a satin-matte zero-waste glaze exterior.

Dowr (meaning Water or River (in the naming of rivers) in Cornish) is a limited edition, never to be repeated glaze made using the ends of buckets of studio glazes, glaze tests and trials. All these different glazes are combined in one big bucket until enough has been collected to glaze a meaningful amount of work. This zero waste glaze has been made from the studio’s 2026 glaze ‘waste’ so far and will only be available until the glaze runs out - and can never be accurately recreated.

Dishwasher safe & microwave safe, but please handle with care. Every item is individually made by hand in small batches using natural materials so there may be subtle variation in size, shape and glaze finish from piece to piece.
